From an unofficial paddock bash in 1986 to a premier community clay oval.
The Waiheke Dirt Track Club began when the community acquired the land at 2 O'Briens Road. What started as an informal drive around a field quickly progressed into a purpose-formed clay race track equipped with a flag tower, pit lanes, and concrete track protection. Over the years, the historic woolshed on-site was converted into the clubrooms and licensed venue enjoyed by generations today.
Club Membership
Annual subscriptions run yearly and are due prior to the AGM (April/May). Membership is required to race and participate in AGM decision-making.
